Cash management in the spotlight in turbulent times
Transaction banking has traditionally been viewed internally by banks as the rather dowdy, plain sister to the more glamorous Cinderella activities of the financing, advisory and mergers and acquisitions teams. More than ever banks are looking for the steady income flows that the transaction services divisions of banks provide.
The Banker gathered senior figures from across the industry to discuss the evolving competitive landscape in the cash management industry, most especially in the light of the credit crunch.
